NDLEA ARRESTS STUDENT 4 OTHERS AT MMIA WITH 10.255KG OF NARCOTICS

tth fhyytOfficials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have arrested a student and four others for  suspected drug trafficking. They were caught at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA) Lagos over unlawful possession of 10.255kgs of narcotics hidden in garri (West African food made from cassava) and luggage.Two of the drug suspects were coming from Brazil with cocaine wile three others were going to South Africa, Dubai and Pakistan when they were arrested.

NDLEA ARRESTS SOUTH AFRICAN BASED GROCER WITH DRUGS

h hhOperatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA) Lagos have arrested a Nigerian grocer in
 Pretoria, South African with 3.920kg of substances found to be methamphetamine. The
 drug was concealed in false bottom of two bags he wanted to check-in at the departure hall.
 

NDLEA SMASHED A GROUP OF SUSPECTED CULTISTS

h hOperatives of the National Drug Law  Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Abia State command have smashed a group of suspected cultists in the commercial city of Aba. The officers nabbed them in a hotel room and recovered from them a pistol, rounds of live ammunition, 13 grammes of dried weeds found to be cannabis and shirts with the inscription, Welcome To Taliban Zone. 

MONEY LAUNDERING:NDLEA FOILS ANOTHER DOLLAR SMUGGLING, TRACES N226 MILLION DRUG MONEY

 hbhAn attempt by a passenger to smuggle twenty-three wraps containing thirty-four thousand United States dollars($34,000) have been foiled by officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).

 

NDLEA DECLARES 2 OFFICERS WANTED

 hhThe National Drug Law  Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has ordered the stoppage of salaries of two officers said  to have absconded from duty since August, 2015. The Officers ,Superintendent of Narcotics (SN) Daniel Goska and Chief Narcotic Agent (CNA) Ndubuisi Ughor have been declared wanted following their sudden disappearance after a drug suspect was nabbed with 74.4kg of narcotics at the Akanu Ibiam  International Airport(AIIA) Enugu. 

NDLEA INTERCEPTS N48 MILLION NAIRA, CANNABIS AT ABUJA

Few weeks after operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA)
 intercepted $2.1 million dollars in Lagos, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) command of the Agency has
 arrested a twenty-five (25) year old man with forty-eight million, four hundred and fifty thousand naira (N48,450,000:00). The monetary exhibit was detected during routine motorized surveillance along Abaji Abuja express way. The command also arrested a cannabis dealer with seventy-nine bags of dried weeds that tested positive for cannabis weighing 817kg.

DRUG TRAFFICKING: MOTHER OF THREE IN NDLEA NET, BLAMES HUBBY

Officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos are currently investigating the alleged involvement of a thirty-eight year old mother of three children over attempt to export 2.04kg of cannabis to South Africa. The dried weed that tested positive for cannabis was concealed in cartons of knorr seasoning cubes. The suspect, Rashidat Abdulkarim during interrogation has accused her husband who lives in South Africa of implicating her.

NDLEA LAUNCHES MANHUNT FOR ARIARIA MARKET DRUG KINGPINS

A manhunt by officials of National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) for suspected drug kingpins at the Ariaria market in Aba, Abia State has started yielding positive
 results. A thirty-two (32) year old man, Emmanuel Ogbonna alleged to be a major distributor of narcotics and a conspirator in the Ariaria market attacks on NDLEA officers has been apprehended. The Agency also declared another suspected drug kingpin identified as Luther King wanted promising a handsome reward for anyone with useful information on his arrest. 

ARIK CREW ARREST: NDLEA ARRESTS ACCOMPLICE, INTENSIFY SCREENING OF AIRPORT WORKERS

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has apprehended an Arik Air staff, IkechukwuChibuzor Oliver over his alleged role in the 20kg of cocaine seizure made by the United Kingdom Border Force at Heathrow Airport. The thirty-five (35) year old who works as a catering loader was found to have subverted airport security by concealing cocaine in catering supplies. Preliminary investigation revealed that both Oliver and Chika had been infiltrated by a suspected drug cartel.

ARIK CREW ARREST: NDLEA GETS CCTV FOOTAGE OF MAIN ACCOMPLICE, IMPOUNDS TWO MORE VEHICLES, INVITES BROTHER OF MAIN SUSPECT

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has obtained closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage of how Arik Air staff, Ikechukwu Chibuzor Oliver who works as a catering loader smuggled threebags of cocaine among food supplies for flight W3101. The Agency also invited the younger brother of main suspect, Chika Egwu Udensi for questioning. 

 Mr. Uwachi Amos Udensi, 32 years old was invited in connection with alleged complicity in the ongoing investigation of 20kg of cocaine seized by the United Kingdom Border Force at Heathrow Airport. The vehicles seized from Chika Egwu Udensi include a Land Rover, an Equinox Chevrolet and a DodgeHemiMagnum. 
 Narcotic investigators are still working on evidences so far gathered on the case. However, it is important to state that the management of Arik Air is giving necessary assistance to theAgency.
