ii. Services at the Agency’s Counselling and Rehabilitation facilities are free. However, family members provide feeding and other basic needs of the individual client admitted at the facility.

iii. Duration at the facilities require a minimum of 12 weeks. However, long periods in drug treatment has proven to be more effective although this also depends on the severity of the individual’s problem and needs.

v. The Agency 24/7 Call Centre:

Part of the responsibility of the Treatment and Rehabilitation Unit is to oversee the management of the Agency Toll Free Call Center which was set up to attend to individuals with drug use challenges and their families. The Center is manned by a team of professionals including Psychologists, Counselors, Social workers, and Mental Health Professionals who provide support to People Who Use Drugs and their family members to manage social and emotional problems, enhance performance and productivity of the beneficiaries of the services and facilitate recovery, thereby improving their quality of lives. Routine Services of the Center include:

24/7 dedicated toll-free line (Weekday and weekend)
Language-sensitive services (Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo, and Pidgin)
Online counseling (virtual counseling and chat therapy) services
Provision of biopsychosocial resource materials and education
Referrals to treatment centers (Federal, State and NDLEA) nationwide
Forwarding of drug dealing reports and cases to appropriate quarters.

vi. In addition, the Unit conducts drug tests on clients and make referrals for treatment where necessary. The Unit also compiles and keeps comprehensive record of Counselling, Treatment and Rehabilitation facilities across the Nation.
